Steadfast Revival

On this final Sunday of the year, we gather in thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness and prepare our hearts for the year ahead. Worship today is not merely a ritual; it is a declaration of steadfastness. This is not the time to retreat or grow weary. It is the time to stand, to serve, and to shine. As Paul exhorts in I Corinthians 15:58, we are called to be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is never in vain.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV

Stand firm in your faith

Paul’s words, “tindog kamo nga lig-on ug dili matarog,” remind us that faith must remain unshaken even when the world trembles. Values are shifting, convictions are challenged, and even the church faces trials. The spirit of scorpion (stinging and offensive words) and the spirit of snake (deceptive words) are trying to push believers off their journey with the Lord. Yet God is raising a people who will not be moved. Faith rooted in Christ and His resurrection power is not dependent on feelings or popularity but on the eternal truth of His Word. Worship is not religion—it is life itself, the very foundation of our existence. As Exodus 23:25 declares, those who worship the Lord will be sustained, healed, and provided for. What nearly broke you will not destroy you; it will strengthen you. Stand firm when others fall away, when obedience is unpopular, and when answers seem delayed.

Simbaha ako ninyo nga inyong Dios ug hatagan ko kamog pagkaon ug tubig ug ayohon ko ang tanan ninyong mga sakit. Exodo 23:25 RCPV

Be Immovable

To be immovable is to refuse compromise. The enemy tempts with convenience over commitment, entertainment over encounter, and compromise over holiness. Yet God is raising a remnant who will boldly declare, “I will not move away from truth.” A spirit of boldness is rising, fear is breaking, and double-mindedness is being healed. The Lord is anchoring His people once again, securing their convictions in His Word. Immovability is not stubbornness but holy resolve, a refusal to let the shifting tides of culture erode eternal truth.

Pagkugi - Abound in the Work of the Lord

Revival is not sustained by emotion alone but by faithful action. Paul’s call to “pagkugi kamo kanunay sa inyong pag-alagad sa Ginoo” is a reminder that service, prayer, and obedience must continue even when strength wanes. To serve when tired, to pray when passion feels absent, and to obey when sacrifice is required—these are the marks of true revival. Heaven sees what may feel unnoticed, and eternity is shaken by even the smallest acts of obedience. Revival flows not through the spectacular but through the faithful.

"Dili Gayod Makawang" - Your Labor Is Not in Vain

Every prayer, every tear, every act of faithfulness is remembered by God. Nothing offered in obedience is wasted. What is sown in secret will be rewarded openly. A season of divine recompense is coming, where delays will be transformed into release and seeds planted in pain will rise in power. The Lord assures His people that their labor is not in vain, for He is the God who honors faithfulness and brings fruit in due season.

This moment is a call to rise. The Lord is transforming His people to be steadfast and unshakable. As we enter 2026, we declare that we are on God’s side, no matter what. Worship is not religion—it is life. Our very existence depends on our worship of Him, for He is the source of all things. Let us stand, serve, and shine, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain. This is the hour of revival, and the call is clear: be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
